Street Cleaning

Athy Town Council is now carrying out daily street sweeping of the town on a year round basis and this has drawn favourable comment from many members of the public.

This service is important and particularly now given the increase in population of the town. There are approximately 80 litter bins provided by the Council at different locations in Athy.
