Illegal Dumping Hotline 1850 365121 

The Town Council encourages the public to report illegal dumping of waste via the EPA Illegal Dumping Hotline at 1850 365 121. The line operates on a 24 hour basis and all incidents of dumping will be followed up by local enforcement authorities- the Town Council Litter Warden Service, the EPA's Office of Environmental Enforcement and the Gardai (where necessary)- through the Environmental Enforcement Network.

The dedicated phone service is staffed on a 24-hour basis so callers get to speak to a trained operator who elicits all necessary details to enable the matter to be investigated. While information can be provided anonymously, callers are encouraged to leave contact details so that clarification can be sought if necessary.
