- Institute of Technology, Waterford offers a wide range of third level cert, diploma, degree and postgraduate courses

Athy Training & Enterprise Centre:
Opened in June 2002 the Athy Training and Enterprise centre is an initiative of the Athy Investment, Development and Employment Forum, the aim of the Forum is to identify and act on the needs of Athy in relation to enterprise, job creation and infrastructural development The Centre is located at Woodstock Street, at the edge of the town, and close to the town's industrial areas. A primary aim of the centre is to provide opportunities for unemployed people in the Athy area to acquire a range of specific and personal skills to enable them to secure employment within the local economy.
