It is organised by the Athy Farmer’s Market Committee, which is made up of participating stallholders and elected interested non-stallholders.The current terms & conditions, stallholders fees and general ethos of the Market have been formulated from consulting with other established Farmer’s Markets and from those who have attended the initial meetings. These will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.

Emily Square offers a central location in Athy with free parking on Sundays. It  is an ideal location to promote the tourist potential of the area being close to the river Barrow and Grand Canal walks and complement the heritage centre and the beautiful architecture of the square.
