Literature
A clear indication of the interest in literature in the county is the consistent uptake on creative writing workshops in libraries, Adult Education and other centres, and the requests for platform to present and showcase work, through readings and publications.
The annual Cecil Day Lewis Bursary awards offer Kildare based writers to research or complete their work.
