Kildare County Council Arts Service is delighted to announce the 2012 roll out of the subsidised Arts in Education Programme ‘If I had an Artist for a Day’ ……

Schools can choose from a range of one day workshops across art forms. Children and teachers alike will be creative, inspired and involved using digital tools such as photography, projection and film alongside traditional visual art materials, musical instruments and drama.

The calibre, range and quality of the workshops included are superb. Children will have the opportunity to create original prints, learn the Japanese craft of origami, produce stop animation films, or just make, tell or share a story all tailored to age abilities!

If you’re a primary school teacher or member of a parent’s association download a PDF of the programmer’s brochure below. You’ll find workshop details and links to participating artists websites - have a look!

Book early to avoid disappointment.
