Our Group has been awarded the SQS 'Quality Standard Award' for the year 2008.  Well done to all!  This is the 'mid-range' standard and identifies that we as a group are meeting most of the main standards in areas such as

• Outdoor activities
• Programme
• Youth member awards

Areas we need to make effort in if we are to maintain this standard - or hopefully attain the 'award of excellence' are

• Overnight activities - more of them
• Leader training - more progress towards Woodbadge
• Better attendance at county/provincial/national events and meetings
