In the spirit of making best use of natural and finacial resources, we encourage parents to recycle scouting uniforms. If you have old uniform(s) in reasonable condition, you can do on of two things
Option 1: Donate the uniform to the Scout Group for resale at a nominal charge - funds to go to group OR
Option 2: We will offer the uniform for sale for you on the website, giving your phone contact details - you make the deal and you keep the money!

We have taken a large intake this year and all sections are now more than full with our young people. We have also lost a few leaders with some needing to take a step backwards or just wishing for a break - many thanks to all current and past volunteers.
As a result, we are in need of parents willing to give up time for weekly meetings and/or weekend activities. Leadership does require a committment but most of us find that is manageable - and that we personally get satisfaction from it. Scouting cannot survive without vounteers - think about it and get in contact with any of the section leaders or committe members.
Several parents have expressed an interest in forming a parents support group and in helping with fundraising. We will arrange an exploratory meeting soon.
All parents must complete an Acitivities Consent Form to register their children at the commencement of each year. Download file
