In the spirit of making best use of natural and finacial resources, we encourage parents to recycle scouting uniforms.  If you have old uniform(s) in reasonable condition, you can do on of two things

Option 1:  Donate the uniform to the Scout Group for resale at a nominal charge - funds to go to group OR

Option 2:  We will offer the uniform for sale for you on the website, giving your phone contact details - you make the deal and you keep the money!

All Youth Members must provide themselves with the relevant official uniform top (all €22 in the Outdoor Adventure Store), and any dark (navy preferable) trousers/jog bottoms.  Full uniform must be worn to all Scouting activities – unless otherwise advised.

Cubs – Navy Blue Top
Scouts – Navy Shirt

It can be difficult to know where all the scouting badges go on the uniform.  But badges are an important part of what scouting is about - showing off our progress and involvement in various activities.  It is helpful to sew badges on as soon as possible after receiving them.  Older cubs and scouts should be capable of sewing on their own badges - maybe with a little help!
